Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, the home for SDSU football, is located on the northeast side of campus. Completed in August 2016, it is
built on the same site as the previous stadium, Coughlin-Alumni. The facility, named for former SDSU football
player, Dana J. Dykhouse, seats 19,300 fans, up from 11,000. Thanks to Daktronics, a 3,100-square
foot LED video board is placed at the south side of the stadium, over the student section
and The Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band. The stadium features a soy-based turf football field with bleachers and chairback seats.
Suite and loge seating, ticket offices, media facilities as well as ample restrooms and
concession stands are available for spectators. Fans can buy SDSU apparel and more at the Jackrabbit Central Stadium Store located at
the southwest corner of the stadium. The store features many items that cannot be purchased
at any other Jackrabbit Central store. This stadium rivals any football facility in the Football Championship Subdivision or FCS level. Students can get a taste of the “big stadium feel” during their home football games with a simple swipe of their ID.
