Melody Wilson and I’m going to take you on a tour of this one-of-a-kind luxury

sitting on an enormous eleven thousand six hundred square foot pie lot,
backing onto walking paths. With five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, listed exclusively by
Eddie D’Ambrosio with Remax Elite, asking 1.998 million
dollars. Today Eddie is gonna show me around this beautiful home. Now if you

tour. When you walk up to this home you will pass the massive driveway that can
easily fit more than six cars, perfect for visitors. Your triple car garage can
actually fit 4 as the one side is tandem and actually has a doorway to the
backyard. The garage has heated floors, hot and cold taps in the garage, with
floor drains and a vacuum system in the garage. Literally a dream! A large tall
archway covers the front entry of your 8 foot solid door with custom arched
windows. This home has soaring 12 and 10-foot ceilings throughout the main
floor giving you the feeling of grandeur and luxury.
This home has 9 custom-designed ceilings in the home. Eddie: You know, part of what takes
so long to build such a gorgeous custom home is when you’re working with rare
materials like this black walnut wood and your hand, and your carpenter has to
finish everything by hand. It’s gonna take a little bit longer but the end
result is absolutely stunning. Melody: How long did it take? Eddie: So total construction time in a home
like this was actually between planning and physically getting in and getting
the work done was about two years. Melody: This home is fully automated with the Control4 Home Automation System – controlling the audio, video, and lighting through
touch screens or remotes and smartphone apps. This home is also heated with
seven different zones throughout this house, including in-floor heating.
This ultra high-end kitchen is just that – high-end. The appliances alone were over
$70,000 the Wolf 40 inch six-burner gas range with griddle, 900 CFM Pro Wall hoodfan, sub-zero fridge and freezer, Miele integrated dishwasher, built-in
warming drawer and microwavem and let’s not forget about that Wolf expresso and
latte machine in your own home. This kitchen has a massive 11 and a half foot
island, solid a 30 millimeter Caesarstone quartz with cabinets to the
ceiling – luxury is in the details even in a decorative basket-weave backsplash and
black walnut covered beams. Off to the side is a second spice kitchen that also
spared no expense. This spice kitchen includes high end appliances and an
urban cultivator herb garden. The custom built-ins in the mudroom is perfect for
the family. As we enter the second level you’ll notice the openness throughout
the open riser stairs and you can even see all the way down to the basement. The
raised bonus room with barrel ceiling is the first thing that you notice. Eddie: This is
my favorite room in the house – the central bonus room has bedrooms on
either side. There are four bedrooms upstairs and three of them have their
own walk-in closets and ensuites. I think that’s where the kids come in. Melody:
There’s a large second-level deck off the bonus room welcomed by double French
doors. Check out the view from your home and these walking paths! The walking
paths you see is a converging path that leads to a larger walkway system in
Upper Windermere. It takes you to the exclusive pool and ice rink for the
neighbourhood. The master suite has gorgeous two tiered coffered ceilings with a feature paint inlay. Oversized windows to allow you to enjoy
the gorgeous park view. The custom black walnut featured throughout the home is also
featured in the master suite on the future wall surrounding the fireplace.
The luxurious spa inspired ensuite has a beautiful large tiled, glass steam shower.
Double soaker tub, and custom cabinetry, gorgeous full height mirrors and
built-in speakers. Downstairs we’ll find an entertainers dream! You’ll notice a
great living area, workout room, fifth bedroom with ensuite and the basement
walks out into the private dining area and then up to the yard.
This landscaping is so nice. So did they do the landscaping themselves like they are they (inaudible). Eddie: So they actually brought in Donna Brown to
do the landscaping design. They have over 90 trees and shrubs on the property
and an 87 sprinkler heads built into the irrigation system so no spring thing
required, it’s just one touch of a button to maintain all of this. Melody: So low maintenance. It looks amazing for low maintenance. Eddie: Yeah it’s
natural stone and then a lot of live live plants and trees but again that
irrigation system really makes life easy. Melody: In the basement you’ll also find a super
stylish bar with a 3D textured backsplash feature, with floating shelves.
The built-in glass enclosed custom wine wall feature is a pretty cool
conversation piece and built an icemaker is not only cool but practical to
serving drinks to your friends when they are over. Basement floors are
hydronically heated so you’ll be able to enjoy being in the basement
regardless of the temperature outside. The coolest feature in this house has to
be the home movie theater also located in the basement. Eddie: Yeah Melody, this is by
far the nicest home theatre room I’ve ever seen. It is the most authentic theater experience
you’re gonna find inside of a residence. The owners actually had the entire basement
dug four feet deeper into the ground to allow for tiered seating. They’ve
got hidden speakers that we were looking at earlier where the speakers are
painted to match the walls. Melody: So just the movie room went down a little bit more to make sure the height was there? Eddie: The whole basement of course is an extended
ceiling height, but in here we get that extra ceiling height to really allow for
the tiered seating to make it a true theater experience. Melody: Yeah it looks really
cool, I’d love to watch a movie here. Eddie: And you haven’t even heard the sound system yet. Melody: No. And with that we end today’s luxury tour thanks so much for tuning in and be sure
to watch our next upcoming Yeg Million Dollar Homes.
