The King – Timothée Chalamet, Robert Pattinson | Final Trailer | Netflix Film

A king has no friends. Only followers… and foe. A new chapter of my life
has begun. As prince, I spent my days
drinking, clowning. Now, I find myself a king. King Henry! Choose your steps wisely,
dear brother. King Henry! They have their own kingdoms
behind their eyes. King Henry! I need men around me
I can trust. King Henry! -You are my friend.
-I will come with you. King Henry! King Henry! Now you’ll be watched over by an altogether
different king. France is taunting us. They were
my father’s enemies, not mine. The screams of your men… shall lull me to sleep at night. You will not topple
this King Henry V of England you so underestimate. Are you ready
for what awaits us? War is bloody and soulless. This is how peace is forged. Do you feel
a sense of achievement? Surrender to me! King of England… are you scared? On me! Already, I can feel the weight of this crown I wear.

  1. The moment when you realise Robert is actually English and Timothée is actually French 😂 weird how things work out! Hopefully they could help each other 🙏🏼

  2. Wouldn't it make more sense for the roles to be reversed, Timmy playing the French and Robbo playing the Brit, oh well

  3. I would love to watch this movie, but I am afraid it would inspire violence. 🤔
You never know, it might give me the idea of attacking Louvre and bring back Gioconda do Italy. 😏

  4. When a helmet with a crown or ring of gold is worn in battle it signifies that “he” is a king and of importance. Marking him a huge target of the enemy. At 1:25 you see the kings friend pick up this helmet. And 1:45 you see Henry without his helmet. Meaning his friend made the ultimate sacrifice…

  5. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he to-day that sheds his blood with me

Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,

    This day shall gentle his condition;

And gentlemen in England now a-bed

Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,

And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks

That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

  6. Why do they always whisper in movie trailers? Somehow, it's supposed to sound "epic" and "dramatic". This silly gimmick has been used in ALL movie trailers for the past 20 years. Time to move on to something new, perhaps?

  7. Could they choose a more boring English King? I mean even Agincourt is the most boring great battle of all time. Edward III wasn't available? lol

  8. How do you get warring barons to submit. Give them war!!! Let them get fat and rich. They won't bother your throne

  9. Thank you Netflix for making awesome historical movies that are authentic

Outlaw King and now this, please continue and give us more

  10. Really? We got the main characters not wearing helmets in battle? You could just give them a unique and recognizable style such as a crown around it. Going into battle at that time with zero head protection would be a very bad idea lol. The audience is smart enough to tell who is who.

  11. ..skinny, wimpy Timothy Chalamet cannot be the stone-cold gangsta ("I will tear the reckoning from his heart" ) that is Henry V; can u imagine Timmy's skinny ass getting up and saying: "We few we happy few, we band of brothers"? -not happening.
..also there's no Shakespeare and without Shakespeare it's just a bunch of muddy guys cursing and killing each other..
..but I'm still going to watch it anyway, dammit..

  12. Everyone saying that Rob has a bad accent, SHUT UP. That was the intention of both the actor and the director; they wanted it to be slightly ridiculous as his character essentially serves as the only comic relief in the VERY heavy and serious movie (Edgerton's Falstaff is not the bumbling drunkard we know from Shakespeare). And I've seen it and can safely say that Pattinson is hands down the best part of this movie.

  13. VOO LE VOO COOSHE AVEC MWA , SE SWAAAA … they way you read that in your head is a better French accent than the load of shite RP gave

  14. Ironic how they cast Timothee, who is half French as the king of England, and cast Robert who is British, as the king of France..

  15. This is why I love films altogether.
    Absolutely brilliant filmmaking.
I am surprised there is no CGI in this. I am on my toes and so looking forward to this.

  16. Of course chosing THE English king who had the most success during the 100 years war and the French king who was the worse. When will we have a TV show about how France won in the end, like we did in Bouvines 200 years ago, with two amazing battles where english were completely crushed while outnumbering the French Patriots defending their land
