Area kids are getting a chance to live out a dream on stage. The La Crosse Community Theatre held a week-long theatre camp this week. It’s the 5th year the theatre has hosted the camp. This year . 30 kids from across the area are taking part . with ages ranging from 7 to 12. Campers say it’s a unique experience they can’t get anywhere else. I really like it because it gives me a chance to do different classes than what I would usually do. We do a lot of activities during the day, just to help them work on their physical acting, and their vocal acting and then general storytelling where you put those elements together to perform for an audience. The camp builds up to a one-night-only performance that takes place tonight at 7 at the Weber Center. Doors to the box office open at 6. Tickets are only 3 dollars.
